"For all the new visual material, it is often hard to be sure what we are seeing when we look at today’s world. None of these changes are settled or stable. It seems as if we live in a type of permanent revolution if we put together these factors of growing network cities with the majority of youthful population, and a changing climate, what we get is a formula for change. Sure enough people worldwide are actively trying to change the systems that represent us in all senses from artistic to visual and political. This book seeks to understand the changing world to help them and all those trying to make sense of what they see."
As mentioned in my previous works. Trusting in the authenticity of an image can draw skepticism. In this day and age, photos can be staged or taken at the moment a photographer deems feasible. Unfortunately, this has adverse effects since the viewer can interpret, the image with bias or negative thoughts. With many people demanding change. They use self-expression through art. As a way to bring awareness to disparities.
"A Photograph can change the world in seconds."
The first thing that comes to mind with the quote is, " A picture is worth a thousand words."
With that being said, a viewer can interpret art or an image to their Understanding. Leaving to the imagination of the viewer. Some people do not critically think or do research to confirm opinions and views. This can be detrimental to the opposing view, or improvement of change.
