How does your project address the themes we have been discussing?

My project addresses the female body and how it is perceived by the human eyes. We are always idealized to be “skinny” in the past and now in 2024, female bodies, there is many a different variety in sizes that are appealing.

How does contemporary media play a role in identity, cultural and societal norms?

The Contemporary media has a significant influence over identity, cultural, and societal norms like media representation or a portrayal of an individual from different backgrounds. The media depicts like a certain ethnic groups, gender, roles, or sexual orientations.

How do these influence our view of ourselves and each other?

These influences make us think harsh of ourselves and then we are thinking harshly about other people just because of our mindset.

How are these themes addressed in the work of the artists we learned.
